Learning the Domino AppDev Pack

Your friends at C3UG have developed a course to learn the Domino AppDev Pack. This FREE course is hosted on Google Classroom. The class code is ‘feilrb4’. Simply log in to Google Classroom an join the class and begin the course.

The course begins with the installation of a Domino V11 server, followed by installation of the AppDev Pack. For this course we use v1.0.3 of the AppDev Pack. The first of 3 code samples does simple reads and writes against a Domino database from an external Javascript application. We then apply security to the AppDev Pack and update our sample application.

The final module of the course involves installing an Identify Access Management app that allows you to respect Domino database access control list security in your Javascript app. Our final example takes you through a sample app provided by HCL, but we jazz it up a bit to illustrate reads and writes using a standard Notes user account.
